What does the name "MessageWorks" mean? The name stems from two core beliefs: 1) The whole point of marketing communication is to convey information that influences your audience in some way. For most of you this is the first step toward selling your goods or services to a customer. This information should tell the prospect who you are, what you stand for and (most important) how you can help make his or her work or life easier or better. The sum of this information is the message you want to impart to your audience. 2) The words, sights and sounds we put together to make this information come alive are created by a team of specialists who work to carefully craft your message - much like the people of industry who fashion wood, metals and other materials into useful things. In days past these woodworkers, metalworkers and others often labored in "The Works" - the places where ideas for tools, automobiles, aircraft and much more became drawings then templates and finally reality. These people created things of value from raw materials. And although improving technology changes the way we work, successful companies still are made up of people who use their intelligence and their hands to create new and better ways to serve their customers. Whether we're touching the keyboard of a PC or the touch pad of a CNC machine tool, our goal is the same: Create value. MessageWorks, then, is a place where marketing communications are hand crafted to let your customers know that what you have to offer is of value to them. |
